Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need to fast before any of my visits?
A: No, fasting is not required for the laboratory exams that we routinely draw. Fasting
is only usually required if you are participating in a clinical trial. Your study coordinator will let
you know if fasting is required.
Q: Who do I call if I have a medical issue that needs immediate medical attention?
A: If you are calling during regular business hours call the front desk at 212-686-9015.
If it is after business hours call the main office phone number and the answering service will contact
the physician on call. If it is an emergency, please contact 911.
If it is a non emergency medical issue, please contact your physicians nurse:

• Terry for Dr. Provet
Q: Who do I call if a need medical records, prescription, or test results?
A: Call Edith at extension 26 if you are a patient of Dr. Kaminetsky
